Anthony Lee is an award-winning singer songwriter and stand up comedian from Newcastle Australia.He writes a wide range of music from comedy and electronic pop to heartfelt ballads.
He was born in Newcastle 15th October 1960.As a young child he would mimic his grandmother who played the piano.His grandfather,a self -taught violinist, recognized his ability at an early age and paid for his first year of piano tuition.Anthony would be picked up from primary school at lunchtime to entertain at Rotary and benefit concerts at the age of 8.He completed his studies and became a primary school teacher still writing songs and performing in bands and duos.After college he moved to Sydney and pursued music full time with an assortment of different collaborations from 1920′s to electronic pop.He appeared many times on national television and proved himself as a most versatile performer.he released several charting singles and 6 original albums.In 1997 he wrote the national tribute to Princess Diana .More recently he tours with his stand up comedy show and writes music for film and television.His music is categorized into various projects including :Comedy ,soul ,funk and ballads
